Project details:

Heathrow Airport project main features are opaque enameled spandrel panels that were painted twice in order to ensure 0% light transmission.

Project description:

Heathrow Airport in London is one of the busiest international airports. Its four terminals service more than 180 flights from more than 90 countries. Millions of people make transfers there every year.

This project is important to GLASSBEL since it introduced a new direction in our product line: interior glazing for design ideas, which is also known in Glassbel range as Glass Paint.

We have supplied enameled glass for Heathrow Airport that was used for wall decoration inside the terminal. The main advantage of such a solution is the possibility to use customized colors in RAL or NCS palette, which can be applied to glass panels up to JUMBO size. Futher to that the density of colour layers can be controlled depending on light transmission figures required to be achieved.

One of the key features of Heathrow Terminal project are high quality tempering and fritting in order to comply with client’s requirements.
