Project description:

Hotel "Kempinski Plaza" is a 206 room five star hotel within a new business complex in Minsk. The project was designed by architectural practice SPEECH Tchoban & Kuznetsov.

The high selective coating used in the IGUs provides a high thermal insulation and neutral appearance. Inner glass is tempered and laminated to provide safety.

To create an individual façade design, silk printing on the glass is used. To match and complement the natural stone texture of the façade required careful selection of pattern and density of the silk printing.

The hotel & business centre, which is the part of multi-functional complex, has a "double skin" glass façade. The external skin of the double façade is made from heat treated low-iron laminated glass to provide mechanical strength and thermal resistance as well as enhancing the natural colors of the silk printing to the inner wall. For enhanced solar control a graduated dot matrix pattern silk printing was used
